We transfer family recordings from VHS and camcorder tapes, 8cm MiniDVD discs, SD cards, Memory Stick media, hard-drive camcorders and many common camera-file formats.
Analogue and digital family-video cassettes transferred using suitable playback decks, with MP4 viewing files and higher-quality master options.
Small 8cm camcorder discs can be extracted and converted even when the original camcorder is no longer available.
We copy, organise and convert recordings from solid-state and file-based cameras while preserving the original files where practical.
Simple guide prices
Common formats have clear starting prices. Cards, unusual media, damaged items and recovery work are quoted after we see what is involved.

File-based cameras
Modern camcorders often record folders full of short clips rather than a single tape. We can preserve the original structure, join clips where appropriate, and make easy-to-watch copies.
MTS, M2TS, BDMV and AVCHD folder structures from Sony, Panasonic and Canon cameras.
MOD and TOD files from hard-drive and memory-card Everio camcorders.
MP4, MOV, AVI, MPEG, MPG, VOB and other playable camera-video files.
Unusual home systems
We also handle formats such as Philips Video 2000, Philips N1500/N1700 VCR, D-VHS, W-VHS/Hi-Vision, LaserDisc, VHD and early open-reel video systems. These are quoted individually.

ProRes or native camera files can be supplied when you want better editing or preservation options.
Receive your files on USB, your own hard drive, secure download, or DVD where requested.
