Answers before you send anything
How do I know what format I have?
Use the search above or send clear photos of the cassette, reel, disc and any labels by WhatsApp. We can usually identify it quickly.
Can I receive files rather than DVDs?
Yes. Most customers choose MP4 files on USB or by download. Professional jobs can be supplied as ProRes, DNxHD, WAV or other agreed formats.
Do you offer quantity discounts?
Yes. We quote for batches, archive projects and recurring white-label work. The best rate depends on format, duration, condition and required output.
Can damaged or mouldy tapes be transferred?
Often, but the item must be assessed first. Do not play visibly mouldy or damaged media at home because this can worsen damage and contaminate equipment.
Can I drop my order off?
Yes. AV Transfers UK is based in Borehamwood. Contact us before travelling so we can confirm access and timing.
